Happy dogs running and playing together during supervised daycare at Independent K-9

Socialization & Daycare

Structured play, real supervision, and social skills that stick — seven days a week.

Two ways to play

Wednesday Social and everyday Daycare

Structured group play session supervised by trainers

Wednesday Social

A big, fun puppy play day — with structure so it never turns into a free-for-all. Play groups are carefully supervised by our staff, and dogs working through reactivity, shyness or fear are handled by our trainers to build confidence without practicing bad behaviors. Morning drop-off, evening pick-up.

Dogs enjoying supervised play during daycare

Daycare — 7 Days a Week

Structured group play in the morning and afternoon (1–2 hours each) with potty breaks in between, for dogs that enjoy playing with others. Dogs that prefer people get one-on-one time with our staff instead — everyone gets exercise and stimulation. Morning drop-off, evening pick-up.

New here? Start with a Wednesday Social evaluation

New dogs must complete an evaluation during Wednesday Social before being approved for Daycare — a trainer signs off once your dog is ready. Depending on how your dog does, we may recommend a few more Social visits or some training first. It keeps every dog in the building safe, including yours.
