Private lessons give you personalized, one-on-one instruction with one of our trainers — customized to your needs and goals, whether that’s basic obedience or working through a behavioral problem. Lessons can take place at our Martinsburg facility, at the farm on Poorhouse Road, or in your own home.
For dogs that thrive in a social setting, our combined packages pair private instruction with the dynamic environment of group classes — the individual attention your dog needs plus the real-world distractions that make training stick.
One-on-one instruction plus a Basic Obedience Group Class — perfect for dogs without significant behavior problems that need solid manners. Your dog must be under control to move on to Group Class; additional private lessons can be added as needed.
A more extensive private-lesson program with a six-week Basic Obedience Group Class session. A good fit for rowdy dogs that struggle with mild reactivity or impulse control in stimulating environments, but don’t quite need Behavior Modification.
Our most intensive package: eight one-hour private lessons, a six-week Group Class session, a remote trainer system and access to our Wednesday Social program if appropriate. For severe fear, reactivity, aggression and resource guarding — built from a detailed plan around your dog.
Honesty matters to us: with behavior modification, no trainer can guarantee complete elimination of negative behaviors. Current clients can schedule daycare, boarding and class spots any time — day or night — through our Gingr client portal.
