We offer a variety of group classes and private lessons designed to address common behavioral issues, enhance obedience, and provide mental and physical stimulation. Our dog training services are designed to be flexible and accommodating to fit the unique needs of each dog and owner. We offer core obedience classes, specialized training, and seasonal programs to ensure that you can find the right class at the right time. Our core classes include AKC STAR Puppy, Basic Obedience, Intermediate Obedience, and Advanced Obedience, which cover essential commands and behaviors that every dog should know.
In addition to our core classes, we also offer specialty training in areas such as agility, rally obedience, and trick training. These classes are held at our farm location during the spring, summer, and fall seasons, providing a fun and engaging outdoor environment for your dog to learn and play. Our training facility is equipped with heating for winter months, ensuring a comfortable learning experience year-round.
To enroll in our classes, we require a minimum of three registered participants. This ensures that each class is interactive and engaging for all attendees. All dogs must be current on their vaccinations, including Distemper/Parvo, Rabies, and Bordetella, and must be on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. We take the safety and health of our participants seriously and strive to provide a clean and safe environment for everyone.
Would you like your puppy to sit for attention instead of jumping on you? Our 6-week AKC STAR Puppy class is designed to expose your puppy to new people, dogs, environments, smells, and noises in a safe and stress-free manner. This program helps shape your puppy’s behavior positively, teaching them to welcome new experiences with confidence. The class covers crate training, housebreaking, leash walking, and basic commands like sit, down, and recall. Puppies must have their second set of vaccines and be parasite-free to join.
Our 6-week Basic Obedience class covers essential commands such as name recognition, sit, down, come, and leash walking. This class is suitable for dogs over six months old and serves as a great starting point for those new to training or as a refresher for those needing to reinforce their skills. The class also addresses basic manners like no jumping and sit while shaking hands. For particularly unruly dogs, private lessons can be added.
Building on the skills learned in Basic Obedience, our Intermediate class adds more distance, duration, and distractions. Over six weeks, dogs will learn to send to place, recall from place, and perform commands from a distance. This class enhances heeling and prepares dogs for advanced training.
