Our Board & Train programs are meticulously crafted to fit both your lifestyle and your dog’s unique training needs. Whether you’re dealing with challenging behavioral issues or simply struggling to find time for training, our programs provide a solution. We focus on consistent, extended training periods, ensuring long-term success for your dog.
In these programs, your dog will receive individualized attention, with multiple daily training sessions, playtime, and socialization. Our approach includes weekly socialization days, daycare, and group obedience classes. The training is adaptive, considering each dog’s temperament and learning curve. We provide weekly updates to owners, including photos and videos, to keep you connected to your dog’s progress. Each program concludes with a comprehensive go-home lesson, ensuring a smooth transition back to your home environment.
Most of our board & train programs can also be done in the home of one of our trainers for an additional fee. If you select this option, your dog will come to work with their trainer to participate in training and other activities including socialization and group classes, but they would go home with their trainer at the end of the day where training would continue in the trainer’s home.
All of our programs can include a remote trainer and be customized to fit your dog’s needs. A remote trainer (also known as an E-collar), is a remote training system that consists of a wireless remote and a wireless receiver. E-collars allow you to remotely send signals to your dog via the collar as a reminder to do the right thing. We use the E-collar Technologies brand as it is a very high-quality and reliable system with great affordability.
Whether you want to be able to walk your dog down the street without being pulled or have a dog with reliable off-lead obedience we have a training camp that will meet your needs!
Our two-week on-leash Board & Train program focuses on instilling basic commands and manners in your dog, such as sit, down, place, and recall, both indoors and outdoors, with progress dependent on your dog's initial training level. At the program's conclusion, you'll receive a comprehensive go-home lesson to reinforce your dog's training at home, along with six weeks of Basic Obedience Class access, a follow-up lesson, and ongoing support, with a remote trainer included, though it's not recommended for dogs with severe behavioral issues.
The Great Dog program is a comprehensive four-week training regimen focusing on advanced obedience and manners, including skills like sit, down, loose-leash walking, recall, formal heeling, and responding to distractions, with a goal of achieving off-leash reliability. This immersive program includes potential public outings for real-world training, an in-home stay option for additional personalization, and culminates with a detailed go-home lesson, six months of Group Obedience class access, a follow-up lesson, and continuous support.
Our Behavior Modification program, typically lasting 5 to 6 weeks or more depending on the dog's issues and response to training, is designed to address severe behaviors such as fear, aggression, resource guarding, and anxiety, with a personalized plan based on your dog's specific challenges and training goals. This intensive program includes a detailed go-home lesson upon completion, along with six months of Group Obedience classes, a follow-up private lesson, social credits, and ongoing support to ensure continued progress and management of your dog's behavior.
